Anaxago is one of the leading crowdfunding platforms in France. It was founded in 2012 and has over 15,000 investors. To date, it has raised over 800 million euros and financed over 350 projects.
As a Product Designer, I led a redesign of the platform. I was also in charge of creating all the visual assets used by the company.

Research
By 2015, the platform needed an overhaul. I started by defining several use cases. After that, I created personas and analysed information collected during interviews with users and stakeholders, as well as data from Google Analytics and the existing user database. I then outlined a simplified user flow that took into account the most important steps of the investment process. I provided specific calls-to-action (CTAs) and reminders to help the user clearly identify the next step.
A complete redesign
The goal was to provide a premium product that is simple yet refined, with a clear visual hierarchy that sets it apart from the competition. We identified many crucial areas for improvement, including: the homepage, project portfolio, project page, user account, and investment flow.
Closing the deal
Due to legal requirements, the user has to submit quite a bit of information prior to investing. Also, to be allowed to invest, it is necessary to fill a very detailed form (mandatory by law). I’ve redesigned the investment flow with a focus on user guidance and reassurance, to help the users in this crucial moment of the investment journey.
